A living Catholic parish in Greenstead
St John Payne is a Catholic parish serving Greenstead, Ardleigh and Mistley in the Diocese of Brentwood. We are formed by the Mass and the sacraments, and by the quiet, practical generosity of parishioners who welcome, sing, arrange flowers, clean, fundraise, support children’s activities, safeguard, visit and care for one another.
We are also home to the Colchester Ordinariate Group, whose celebration of Divine Worship is part of our Catholic life here.
